We are delighted to invite junior and masters players to the Estonian Juniors & Masters Open 2026 — three days of squash at Estonia's largest and most modern club, YOLO Squash in Tallinn.
Organised in cooperation with the Estonian Squash Federation, the event brings together up-and-coming juniors and experienced masters players from across the Baltics and beyond. Whether you are chasing ranking points or simply love a good match, you will find a competitive draw and a warm welcome.
Tallinn pairs a compact, walkable medieval old town with easy connections by air and by ferry from Helsinki and Stockholm — making it an easy and rewarding weekend trip for players and families alike.

10 minutes from the airport
Land and you are basically there. The venue is a 10-minute walk from Tallinn Airport, and just a 10-minute taxi ride to the medieval Old Town. No long transfers, no wasted hours.
Everything under one roof
The club sits inside a large mall packed with other sports facilities, restaurants and shops. Warm up, play, eat, recover and shop without ever stepping outside. Hard to beat for a tournament base.
Add a day in Helsinki
Fancy a side trip? Hop on a modern ferry to Helsinki, a beautiful two-hour ride across the Gulf of Finland. Catch up with Finnish friends, knock up a few games, sightsee, or even fly home from there.
A medieval capital next door
Tallinn's UNESCO-listed Old Town is one of the best-preserved in Europe: cobbled streets, towers and cosy restaurants, all a short ride away. Great value too, with top hotels and food well below Western European prices.

Players may enter one category only. The organiser may combine age groups if entries are low, and will operate a reserve list if a category fills.

Getting here & getting around
The practical bits. Tallinn is compact and stress-free to reach, and the venue could hardly be more convenient.
By air
Tallinn Airport (TLL) has direct flights from most European hubs. It is a 10-minute walk to the venue and about 10 minutes by taxi to the Old Town. A small, fast airport with no long transfers.
By sea
Modern ferries connect Tallinn with Helsinki (~2h) and Stockholm. A scenic, comfortable way to arrive, and a great option for a Helsinki side trip during your stay.
Getting around: the venue at T1 Mall is on tram and bus lines, with shopping-centre parking at the door. Taxis and ride-hailing (Bolt) are cheap and everywhere.
Where to stay
Accommodation is included in the Weekend and Full packages, so most guests stay at the official tournament hotel right by the airport and venue.
Official hotel: Mercure Tallinn, Lennujaama tee 2. A modern 4-star hotel next to Tallinn Airport and Ülemiste Centre.

From the Mercure hotel
Everything is close. Here is how to get from the official hotel to the key places.
Airport → hotel
Mercure Tallinn is a short walk from the terminal, roughly 5 minutes on foot. A taxi or Bolt is only a couple of minutes if you have heavy bags.
Hotel → YOLO Squash
The venue at T1 Mall is about a 12-minute walk from the hotel, or 5 minutes by taxi or Bolt. An easy, flat route past the airport district.
Hotel → city centre
The Old Town and city centre are about a 10-minute drive. Taxis and Bolt are cheap, or take a tram/bus from nearby Ülemiste. Allow a little more at peak times.

Visas & entry to Estonia
Travelling from outside the EU? Estonia is in the Schengen area, so most players visit visa-free. We will help anyone who does need a visa.
Most players: no visa
Citizens of the EU/EEA, Switzerland and many visa-free countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil and others) can enter for up to 90 days with just a valid passport.
Some players: a short-stay visa
If your nationality needs a Schengen Type C visa, apply at the nearest Estonian embassy or visa centre. Plan 6–8 weeks ahead. We issue an official invitation letter to support your application.

Approved protective eyewear is required for all junior players, in line with ESF junior guidelines.

When is the Estonian Juniors & Masters Open 2026?

Where is the tournament venue?
It is held at YOLO Squash, Peterburi tee 2, on the third floor of the T1 Mall in central Tallinn — a 10-minute walk from Tallinn Airport.
What is the entry deadline?

How much does it cost to enter?
Tournament entry is €90 per player. Accommodation packages with meals start at €180 (Weekend, 2 nights) or €230 (Full, 3 nights) per person, and optional extras are available too. You choose your exact package and pay on Tournament Software.
Which categories can I enter?
Juniors play BU/GU 13, 15, 17 and 19 (boys and girls). Masters play Men and Women 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 70+ and 75+. Players may enter one category only.
What is the scoring format?
Matches use PAR 11 scoring, best of 5 games, to 2 clear points. A minimum of 3 matches is guaranteed for every entrant.
How do I pay?
All registration and payment happens on Tournament Software. Select your event and any packages or extras there, then pay securely by card (Stripe). There is no separate bank transfer.
